“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is a success.” –Henry Ford

No organization can flourish until all the team members work towards a common goal. Also, when the team is given due credit and recognition it not only boosts their confidence also builds trust and faith in the organization.

When we contacted Prabhat Saxena, Founder SrijanKaSankalp he subtly told us to profile his team and not him.No wonder, with such leaders in the organization SrijanKaSankalp is doing some exemplary work in the field of education and livelihood. So, meet the team with us.

What keeps you ticking and motivating in your current area of work?

Punit Dubey

I work in the space of Process and Guidelines. I manage volunteer engagement for the organisation.

My motivation is the impact from the volunteers through their skills contribution to our programs.

Even in this pandemic the volunteers have formed a group and figured out a road map to help the needy. We are working with very less staff but this hasn’t stopped our efforts towards the COVID19 crisis. We were able to reach out to the migrants with food packets and also to the truck drivers association. All this was only made possible with the support of our ground staff and timely contribution from our volunteers.

The feeling of gratitude is enough for me to keep going.

Tell us some of the real-life stories in your work area or with beneficiaries that have really inspired you.

Vinay Gupta

I am in Incharge of overall ground operations. I come across beneficiaries on a regular basis.

It was back in 2016 when we conducted a Talent Search Examination for the students who were keen for higher studies. A simple, lean boy, named KhubChand caught our attention. His eyes were twinkling with the desire and quest for knowledge. Observing his ability to go beyond his limits to make a mark in the academics we enrolled him with our education partner, Quest for Education. He did not just score 95.4% in grade 12 and stood first in the Hamirpur district but also got selected in IIT. He is now studying in NIT Jaipur.

He lost his father when he was in Grade 6 and his future was in question. But, out of his sheer determination and hard work he framed his own golden future.

I always get overwhelmed coming across such determined souls who have the grit to move even the mountains.

I always remember the following lines whenever I see such success stories at Srijan,

We at Srijan have taken this resolution to bring a smile and hope to every child and make them pursue their dreams.

What is the origin of Srijan?

For the last few years we have been working in Bundelkhand, Jharkhand , Bihar, Uttarakhand and Maharashtra in the areas of education, health and livelihood.

It all began when a bunch of friends decided to come together for a common cause. We started with a very small team and have grown exponentially now. We also work in coordination with the volunteers who in turn become our best buddies.

What keeps you attached to Srijan Ka Sankalp?

Srijan ka Sankalp was a campaign started by a bunch of friends with a common goal of bringing change to the economically weaker section of the society. A environment infused with trust and respect for each other makes us move steadily towards our goal. However, if we have to single out one thing which is unique to us, it is the freedom of expression that everyone enjoys being a part of this organisation. Every voice and opinion is heard and decisions are taken collectively in the most transparent manner. This I believe this ensures not just mine but all of our workforce’s strong commitment to this cause.
